Fender Deluxe Series Cyclone II 2003 - Daphne Blue 94961
Description (More pics below)
Up for sale is a sweet Fender Cyclone II Deluxe Series in daphne blue. Fender site says it was made in July 2003. Weight = 7lbs, 4oz.
Features
-- Offset poplar body with competition GT stripe
-- C-shape, 9.5" radius, 24.75"-scale maple neck
-- American Vintage single-coil Jaguar pickups with on/off switch for each
-- Vintage tuners and Strat-style tremolo
Condition
For 23-years-vintage this guitar is surprisingly clean. No big chip/dings. Play wear includes some minor marks around the edges (see pics). As is common the blue has become more green over the years and there is some yellowing around the GT stripe and on back. All electronics work perfect. Medium jumbo frets are in good condition with only minor wear.
Playability
Guitar is nicely balanced and light with a tummy cut on back that makes it comfortable to hold. Neck plays nicely all over and guitar sets up with good action. Single coil pickups have plenty of bite and grit. Tremolo works and is currently set up very tight for tuning stability. Comes with tremolo bar but NO case. I do a full setup and expert packing: details below. Thanks!

"Guitar was packed perfectly for shipping. Everything arrived exactly as described. A lot of care and attention was put into the setup (intonation is perfect). Seller was nice enough to include some extras. Excellent seller! Thank you so much!"

Guitar Setup
Setup includes new strings (9s or 10s depending on what the nut is cut for), overall polish, cleaning any gunk off fingerboard, oiling neck, and polishing frets when necessary. We spray out any pots that are noisy, turn the truss rod (if necessary) and set string height at low-to-medium action depending on string buzz present. Since setup is highly subjective you may need to get it set to your particular needs by your personal luthier. Thanks!
Packing
I use quality boxes, thick bubble wrap, and peanuts to pack guitars. I have a very high rate of successful guitar and bass shipping (meaning few damaged instruments). I have been doing this 15 years and know how to pack well--with or without a hard case. I wrote a detailed story with photos on how I pack a guitar, which you can find on my StillKickinMusic site blog. If you Google "Still Kickin - How to Pack a Guitar" you will find it. Thanks.
About Me
My store is a one-person small business that has been selling used guitars and basses for 15 years now. I do a basic setup and cleaning on every instrument I sell, so depending on workload it may be 1-2 business days before your guitar ships. When it arrives you can depend on it being, clean, set up, and securely packed. Check my feedback for confirmation. Thanks!
