Fender Modern Player Telecaster Bass 2012 - Butterscotch Blonde 04467
Description
You're looking at a Fender Modern Player Telecaster Bass in Butterscotch finish, made in January 2012. These were made for a short time and are now rare. Weight = 9lbs, 2oz.
Condition
Cosmetically it's in generally good shape with some minor players marks, including little chip on the headstock and at neck joint, plus couple indents on the edge and some hard to photograph small marks on back. Frets and neck are in very good condition. These have very soft nickel hardware and I've just gone through and polished everything. All electronics work great. Bass is fully functional with no issues.
Features
— Alder body & maple 9.5” radius, C-shape neck
— Two wide-range humbuckers
— Hi-mass bridge w/ brass saddles
— Tele headstock, tummy cut, engraved neck plate
Sound & Playability
These are a lot of fun to play. Tinted C neck and medium jumbo frets feel good in the hand. Most of all the wide range pickups have a big, fat vintage sound unlike other basses. Made in China but you'll be surprised by the quality. Plays smooth with nice action. Discontinued model grab this while you can. NO case. I do a full cleaning and setup on all guitars. Full Fender specs in gallery. Thanks!
Guitar Setup
Setup includes new strings (9s or 10s depending on what the nut is cut for), overall polish, clean and oil fingerboard. We spray out any pots that are noisy, turn the truss rod (if necessary) and set string height at low-to-medium action depending on string buzz present. We do a basic setup since setup is highly subjective you may want to get it set to your particular needs by your personal luthier anyway. Thanks!
Packing
Search "How to Pack a Guitar + Hot Girls" on YouTube for a video showing how I pack. I use quality boxes, thick bubble wrap, and peanuts to pack guitars. I have been doing this 15 years and know how to pack well--with or without a hard case. You can also read my packing blog post on my StillKickinMusic website. If you Google "Still Kickin - How to Pack a Guitar" you will find it. Thanks.
