This is a 2013 Gibson Les Paul 50s Tribute in a satin goldtop finish. Comes with black hard case. Weight = 9lbs, 5oz, so this is one of the rare Tributes that probably has no weight relief.
Condition
Cosmetically this guitar is in very good condition with some mild marks only (see pics). This one came from the factory with no pickguard (no screw holes present). Mostly stock except for upgraded Grover kidney bean tuners and upgraded metal output jack. Frets are in excellent condition. Very dark, beautiful wood on the back of guitar, unlike most Tributes.

Sound & Playability
This LP Tribute has the more chunky rounded 50s neck profile and it plays great all over the neck. All electronics work perfectly. The Tribute line sports a thin finish that 1) Let’s your tone come through and 2) wears quickly for a nice relic look. Mahogany woods provide Les Paul sustain and the P90 setup is a rare configuration on the Tributes. Large neck inlays, aged plastics, and gold knobs round out the features. Guitar Setup
Setup includes new strings (9s or 10s depending on what the nut is cut for), overall polish, cleaning any gunk off fingerboard, oiling neck, and polishing frets when necessary. We spray out any pots that are noisy, turn the truss rod (if necessary) and set string height at low-to-medium action depending on string buzz present. Since setup is highly subjective you may need to get it set to your particular needs by your personal luthier. Thanks!
Packing
I use quality boxes, thick bubble wrap, and peanuts to pack guitars. I have a very high rate of successful guitar and bass shipping (meaning few damaged instruments). I have been doing this 15 years and know how to pack well--with or without a hard case. 50's Build
During the 50's the Les Paul was a real big and heavy guitar. There was no such thing as weight relief back then and people liked big and chunky necks that you could really dig in to without causing any kind of damage.
This guitar takes the same size and shape of the 50's Les Pauls but updates it with some modern weight relief in the Mahogany body that is topped with a beautiful piece of maple. This means that you can play for longer without the back and neck strain that so many players associate with the Les Paul at longer gigs.
Vintage Hardware
With a very traditional stopbar tailpiece that has been used for nearly the entire life of the Les Paul and some classic green key style tuners not only does it look superb but it has the stability and feel of a premium guitar that has been around for a long time.
