You're looking at a 2016 Gibson Les Paul 50s Tribute in a nitro goldtop finish. Beautiful guitar in great condition. Features:
— Mahogany body & neck, rosewood board
— Les Paul tone / light weight (7 lbs, 10oz)
— 490R/498T humbuckers
These Tributes have a nice thin coat of nitro for better sustain and tone. Most people selling these don’t even know if they have a 50s or 60s version. This is a 50s with the chunkier neck. Nice details--the green tulip Kluson tuners, large neck inlays, and aged plastics and gold knobs. Cosmetically, it has few small marks, which are just paint wear and part of the natural relic process on these (see pics). Frets are in good condition. No case. Guitar Setup
Setup includes new strings (9s or 10s depending on what the nut is cut for), overall polish, cleaning any gunk off fingerboard, oiling neck, and polishing frets when necessary. We spray out any pots that are noisy, turn the truss rod (if necessary) and set string height at low-to-medium action depending on string buzz present. Since setup is highly subjective you may need to get it set to your particular needs by your personal luthier. Thanks!
Packing
I use quality boxes, thick bubble wrap, and peanuts to pack guitars. I have a very high rate of successful guitar and bass shipping (meaning few damaged instruments). I have been doing this 15 years and know how to pack well--with or without a hard case.
