Gibson Firebrand The Paul 1979 - Natural Walnut OHSC w/Floyd Rose Tremolo 69520
This is a 46-year-vintage 1979 Gibson Firebrand Les Paul. I have just gone over the entire guitar polishing the frets, oiling the neck. Ebony fretboard and frets have lots of life. Comes with original Gibson hard case and original tremolo arm.
Condition
Outfitted with original T-top pickup in the neck and a period-correct DiMarzio Super Distortion in bridge. The 80s Floyd works great and says "Licensed Under Floyd Rose Patents." Locking nut says "Kahler Pat. Pend." Not much damage on the body except for some round cutouts around the knobs. (I have no idea what these were for.) One knob looks newer than others. Frets have some mild flattening but are in very good shape. Original chainsaw case works well.
Sound and Playability
Pickups and all electronics work and sound great. True vintage rocker ready to be played. No dead spots. Plays well all over neck. Guitar will come to you ready to play, not a project. Setup includes new strings (9s or 10s depending on what the nut is cut for), overall polish, clean and oil fingerboard. We spray out any pots that are noisy, turn the truss rod (if necessary) and set string height at low-to-medium action depending on string buzz present. We do a basic setup since setup is highly subjective you may want to get it set to your particular needs by your personal luthier anyway. Thanks!

Search "How to Pack a Guitar + Hot Girls" on YouTube for a video showing how I pack. I use quality boxes, thick bubble wrap, and peanuts to pack guitars.
