Fender Vintage MIJ 60s Jazz Bass White + OHSC Lollipop Tuners Matched Headstock 25969

Description
This is a very rare find--a Fender 60s Jazz Bass in Olympic White with matching headstock, a "Made in Japan" instrument. This is not the new "Traditional" line from 2021. This is vintage and in immaculate condition. True vintage 7.25" radius spec, unlike the "Traditional" line. Has the vaunted "lollipop" tuners not to be found on any Fender basses outside of Custom Shop. Comes with full kit, including USA-made brown G&G tolex case and with Fender papers and strap. (Early G&G has "Cheney of UK" latches before Fender went a cheaper route.)

Featuring a matched white headstock, this bass has a fully bound neck with rosewood fretboard, vintage thin frets, and large pearloid block inlays. Beautiful bone nut. It's fully decked out with dual ashtray covers (which came stock) and lower finger rest. The frets are in excellent shape. Cosmetically, it's astounding this vintage bass is 9/10 with only some very tiny marks/scuffs I tried to show in pics, but are hard to see. This bass is a real testament to Japanese craftsmanship of the era. The neck fits super snug in the neck pocket. Binding is beautiful. This bass is a real sports car that looks like it's been sitting in someone's stable for many years and was lightly used. Year of manufacture: 
The T+6-digit serial indicates 1994-95 production date. However, Fender did re-use some Made in Japan serials, so it could be from the 2000s. It also could be a Japan "domestic only" model. Pots say "Made in Japan."

Guitar Setup
All setups are done by our in-house luthier. Setup includes new strings (9s or 10s depending on what the nut is cut for), overall polish, cleaning any gunk off fingerboard, oiling neck, and polishing frets when necessary. We spray out any pots that are noisy, turn the truss rod (if necessary) and set string height at low-to-medium action depending on string buzz present. Since setup is highly subjective you may need to get it set to your particular needs by your personal luthier. Basses get the same treatment minus the string change. Thanks!

I use quality boxes, thick bubble wrap, and peanuts to pack guitars. I have a very high rate of successful guitar and bass shipping (meaning few damaged instruments).
