This is a really cool 1996 Fender 50th Anniversary Squier Vista Venus in black finish. This one is cleaner than any of the other ones you'll find on the web. It's also very collectible having that 50th Anniversary sticker on the headstock. This is Courtney Love's signature guitar and is part of the "Vista Series" made in Japan for a very short time. This limited edition guitar was only made for a couple years and they are hard to find, especially in clean condition like this. No dings or scratches. The frets are in great condition.

The Squier Venus (commonly known as Fender Vista Venus) is a signature series guitar released in 1997 and co-designed by Courtney Love in conjunction with Fender's Squier brand, under the Vista series. At the time of its release, Love and Bonnie Raitt were the only two female musicians to have their own signature series of guitars.

Its shape was based on Mercury, Stratocaster and Rickenbacker solidbody guitars. It was released in two configurations, six or twelve string (the Venus XII). Colors available included black, sunburst and surf green.

Guitar Setup
All our setups are done by our in-house luthier. Setup includes new strings (9s or 10s depending on what the nut is cut for), overall polish, cleaning any gunk off fingerboard, oiling neck, and polishing frets when necessary. We spray out any pots that are noisy, turn the truss rod (if necessary) and set string height at low-to-medium action depending on string buzz present. Since setup is highly subjective you may need to get it set to your particular needs by your personal luthier. Basses get the same treatment minus the string change. Thanks!

Packing
I use quality boxes, thick bubble wrap, and peanuts to pack guitars. I have a very high rate of successful guitar and bass shipping (meaning few damaged instruments). I have been doing this 10 years and know how to pack well--with or without a hard case.
