Description
This is a 2007 American made Fender Stratocaster in sunburst finish. The guitar has just been completely gone over and upgraded. When I got it, the pickups were weak, so I found a perfect matched set of mid-90s American Strat replacements, and while I was at it, replaced all interior wiring with high quality cloth wire, and gave it some new CTS 250k pots. New black pickguard and rear tremolo cover--both still have the plastic on them. Saddles were getting old, so there is a brand new set of Fender factory saddles on it. Previous owner had outfitted it with a really nice set of black USA-made Sperzel locking tuners. Just given a full setup by my in-house luthier. Now this baby is ready to rock. Got the 20-year-old woods for tone and all the new parts to keep it rockin into the next decade. Neck feels great. Frets show mild wear with some slight grooves just starting to show, but it's in no need of fretwork. Lots of life left. Body shows only mild wear (see pics below)--still looks very clean. Plays and sounds amazing. Comes with tremolo bar and Fender gigbag. Weight is 8 pounds, 6 ounces. (Details on my setups and packing at bottom of listing.) Thanks for looking.

Guitar Setup
All our setups are done by our in-house trained luthier. Setup includes new strings (9s or 10s depending on what the nut is cut for), overall polish, cleaning any gunk off fingerboard, oiling neck, and polishing frets when necessary. We spray out any pots that are noisy, turn the truss rod (if necessary) and set string height at low-to-medium action depending on string buzz present. Since setup is highly subjective you may need to get it set to your particular needs by your personal luthier. Basses get the same treatment minus the string change. Thanks!
Packing
I use quality boxes, thick bubble wrap, and peanuts to pack guitars. I have a very high rate of successful guitar and bass shipping (meaning few damaged instruments). I have been doing this 10 years and know how to pack well--with or without a hard case. I wrote a detailed story with photos on how I pack a guitar, which you can find on my StillKickinMusic site blog. If you Google "THERE IN ONE PIECE...How to Pack a Guitar" you will find it. Thanks.
