Fender 2011 Mustang Pawn Shop Special MIJ Short Scale Red Clean! 03573
You're looking at a Fender Pawn Shop Mustang Special in Candy Apple Red finish, made in Japan in March 2011. A really lightweight guitar (6 pounds, 7 ounces!) that's a lot of fun to play. Features:
— Offset alder body and maple neck
— C-profile, 24” short scale neck w/ rosewood fretboard
— Dual Fender Enforcer Wide-Range humbuckers
Two killer humbuckers with unique switching capabilities: standard 3-position switch--with mini-switches that let you select each coil on the humbuckers. The guitar looks very clean. I have taken pictures of some very minor marks. Frets are in great condition with little to no wear. Fender only made this guitar for two years and they are getting scarce. NO case. I do a full setup and expert packing: details below. Thanks for looking.
About Me
My store is a one-person small business that has been selling used guitars and basses for 15 years now. I do a basic setup and cleaning on every instrument I sell, so depending on workload it may be 1-2 business days before your guitar ships. When it arrives you can depend on it being, clean, set up, and securely packed. Check my feedback for confirmation. Thanks
Guitar Setup
Setup includes new strings (9s or 10s depending on what the nut is cut for), overall polish, clean and oil fingerboard. We spray out any pots that are noisy, turn the truss rod (if necessary) and set string height at low-to-medium action depending on string buzz present. We do a basic setup since setup is highly subjective you may want to get it set to your particular needs by your personal luthier anyway. Thanks!
Packing
Search "How to Pack a Guitar + Hot Girls" on YouTube for a video showing how I pack. I use quality boxes, thick bubble wrap, and peanuts to pack guitars. I have been doing this 15 years and know how to pack well--with or without a hard case. You can also read my packing blog post on my StillKickinMusic website. If you Google "Still Kickin - How to Pack a Guitar" you will find it. Thanks.

The Pawn Shop Series guitars draw inspiration from the eccentric and sometimes wildly innovative Fender creations of the mid-'60s and mid-’70s era that sometimes found their way to the outside world and into the more esoteric pages of Fender history. With this adventurous spirit in mind, Pawn Shop Series instruments emerge as all-new Fender guitars with a boldly creative alchemy of diverse Fender components. And while they are newer members of the Fender family crafted with thoroughly modern sound and quality, Pawn Shop Series instruments now take the stage with a remarkable new identity as "guitars that never were but should have been."
