Fender 2013 USA Professional Standard Telecaster HS S-1 American Pro Tele + Bag 28943
Description (see more pics below)
This is a 2013 American Professional Telecaster HS in sunburst finish. Excellent playing and cosmetic condition. Features:
— Alder body, maple neck, rosewood board
— C-profile, 9.5" radius neck w/ jumbo frets
— Custom wound zebra humbucker
— S-1 switch and (upgraded) "no-load" tone pot
Cosmetically, the guitar is clean with mild scuffing on back and sides and a hard to see finish imperfection below the controls (see pics), but no big dings or scratches. Still looks nice overall. Jumbo frets have lots of life and only some mild wear on first three frets. Comes with Fender gigbag. Weight is 7 pounds, 9 ounces. I do a setup and expert packing: details below. Thanks for looking.
About me
My store is a one-person small business that has been selling used guitars and basses for 15 years now. I do a basic setup and cleaning on every instrument I sell, so depending on workload it may be 1-2 business days before your guitar ships. When it arrives you can depend on it being, clean, set up, and securely packed. Check my feedback for confirmation. Thanks!
Guitar Setup
Setup includes new strings (9s or 10s depending on what the nut is cut for), overall polish, clean and oil fingerboard. We spray out any pots that are noisy, turn the truss rod (if necessary) and set string height at low-to-medium action depending on string buzz present. We do a basic setup since setup is highly subjective you may want to get it set to your particular needs by your personal luthier anyway. Thanks!
Packing
I use quality boxes, thick bubble wrap, and peanuts to pack guitars. I have a very high rate of successful guitar and bass shipping (meaning few damaged instruments). I have been doing this 15 years and know how to pack well--with or without a hard case. I wrote a detailed story with photos on how I pack a guitar, which you can find on my StillKickinMusic site blog. If you Google "Still Kickin - How to Pack a Guitar" you will find it. Thanks.
Manufacturer Info
Hand-built in Corona, California, Fender USA Professional electrics offer pro-spec playability and superb tone at a great value. The USA Pro Telecaster HSS is equipped with a custom-wound vintage-style Telecaster neck pickup that produces round, clear Tele tone. For added muscle and aggressive tone, a Zebra bridge humbucker is loaded in the bridge position - A popular mod among Tele® players that enhances the versatility of the instrument. This custom-wound pickup delivers full, vintage punch in humbucking mode and true classic Tele twang in single-coil mode, which is engaged via the Fender S-1 switch on the volume pot. Other features include alder body, maple neck with 9.5”, 22 jumbo frets, a vintage-style bridge and 3-way switching and a 6-sadle bridge that offers more precise string adjustments and intonation than the original 3-saddle Telecaster design. Comes with deluxe gig bag. Includes gig bag.
