You're looking at a 2018 Fender Classic Player Jazzmaster in black finish in excellent playing and cosmetic condition. Super clean, no dings or scratches. Frets are in A+ condition. All electronics perfect. It has a Pau Ferro fingerboard.  

The Classic Player Jazzmaster is a simple gutiar with excellent sounding pickups. Offset body for a great look and iconic Fender synchronized tremolo. Weight is 8 pounds, 9 ounces. No case or tremolo bar. I do a full cleaning and setup on all guitars. (See bottom for setup and packing details.) Thanks for looking! 

Switching:
Just in case you're not familiar with this model, the switching is set up in the vintage fashion, the way the Jazzmaster was originally envisioned by Fender. That means the black slide switch above the pickups when up is in normal or "lead" mode. In lead mode, the white 3-way pickup switch and Volume/Tone knobs down below work just like any normal guitar. The black switch in down position engages the "rhythm" circuit which uses only the neck pickup and the two black controls for volume/tone, and it has a much warmer "jazzy" sound. I do a full cleaning and setup on all guitars. (Details on my setups and packing at bottom of listing.) Thanks for looking!

Guitar Setup
All setups are done by our in-house luthier. Setup includes new strings (9s or 10s depending on what the nut is cut for), overall polish, cleaning any gunk off fingerboard, oiling neck, and polishing frets when necessary. We spray out any pots that are noisy, turn the truss rod (if necessary) and set string height at low-to-medium action depending on string buzz present. Since setup is highly subjective you may need to get it set to your particular needs by your personal luthier. Basses get the same treatment minus the string change. Thanks!

Packing
I use quality boxes, thick bubble wrap, and peanuts to pack guitars. I have a very high rate of successful guitar and bass shipping (meaning few damaged instruments). I have been doing this 10 years and know how to pack well--with or without a hard case.
