Fender 68 Custom Vibro Champ Reverb Clean! + Creamback & Footswitch Upgrades 74881
Description (more pics below)
This is Fender ’68 re-issue Vibro Champ amp in excellent condition. Basically new condition and comes with:
— Upgraded Celestion Creamback speaker
— Fender 2-button footswitch, not included from factory
— Fender amp cover
— Manual & power cable
Cosmetically, the amp looks near new. Maybe you’ll find a scuff or two, but it looks great. If you wonder why it’s priced the same as a new one, consider the stock speaker in these is the Celestion Ten 30, which costs $50. The Celestion Creamback in this one is a $135 speaker and sounds miles better. Also, the $50 2-button foot switch is an optional accessory with this amp. This amp sounds amazing with all the crisp Fender tone you’d expect, and the ability to break up when you dig into the strings, a dynamic you see on good vintage Fender tube amps. This is one re-issue Fender got right. Thanks for looking!
Manufacturer Info
At just 5 watts, the original Vibro Champ® was famous for classic Fender tremolo, tube sparkle and killer grind at a reasonable level. The ’68 Custom Vibro Champ Reverb improves on this classic amp by adding a hall reverb and using a larger 10” speaker for increased low end. These additions make this little wonder perfect for rehearsal, home recording and even small gigs. Amplifier comes with fitted cover. Optional 2-Button Vintage Style (P/N: 0994058000) available.
