FENDER 69 THINLINE FLAME TELECASTER! Rare FSR Semi-Hollow 6-Pound Tele! 32898
Description
This is a very rare Fender 69 Thinline Telecaster Flame, circa 2003, made in Mexico. Amazingly, the flames aren't painted but are created by subtraction, so that what shows as flames is the natural mahogany with clear coat only. The neck has a very orange amber tint and the headstock is a matched flame look. Excellent playing and cosmetic condition. The semi-hollow body with F-hole makes for a really light guitar (6 pounds, 6 ounces) that feels great in the hands. Upgraded pickups are a Seymour Duncan Jerry Donahue at the bridge and Duncan Alnico II Pro at neck. U-shaped neck with 7.25" radius. Shows some mild fret wear and grooves. The body is very clean with one edge ding, tiny head mark, and hairline paint cracks at the neck joint. Other tiny marks and some clear coat separation around tuners. Overall looks nice 8/10. Guitar Setup
All setups are done by our in-house luthier. Setup includes new strings (9s or 10s depending on what the nut is cut for), overall polish, cleaning any gunk off fingerboard, oiling neck, and polishing frets when necessary. We spray out any pots that are noisy, turn the truss rod (if necessary) and set string height at low-to-medium action depending on string buzz present. Since setup is highly subjective you may need to get it set to your particular needs by your personal luthier. Basses get the same treatment minus the string change. Thanks!
Packing
I use quality boxes, thick bubble wrap, and peanuts to pack guitars. I have a very high rate of successful guitar and bass shipping (meaning few damaged instruments). I have been doing this 10 years and know how to pack well--with or without a hard case.
