Classic Fender Jaguar setup with multiple switches for a large selection of sounds. Vintage Jaguar pickup tones.
Description
This is a 2016 Fender Classic Player Jaguar Special in sunburst finish. Guitar is in about the same shape as many new guitars you'll find hanging on the wall at any guitar store. No dings or scratches, perhaps a scuff or two if you look with a magnifying glass. All electronics, neck, frets, all perfect. Intonation, neck and playability are very good, and that is not always the case on Jaguars. I'd say about half I get in stock have dead or pingy sounding strings, due to poor string break angle over the bride, poor nut, binding and a lot of little things on Jaguars. This one has none of that. Plays better than any I've seen. All pics here are of actual guitar you'll receive, unlike some of the guitar superstores who only show you a stock picture. Tremolo bar and Fender gigbag included, along with Fender paperwork. PS: This guitar has one modification, which is minor, but awesome. Little cutout in front of the neck pickup allows you to adjust the truss rod without having to remove the neck! (see pic below). Will save a ton of time when you need to set up the guitar or just tweak the truss rod. Weight is 8 pounds, 15 ounces. I do a full cleaning and setup on all guitars. Guitar Setup
All our setups are done by our in-house trained luthier. Setup includes new strings (9s or 10s depending on what the nut is cut for), overall polish, cleaning any gunk off fingerboard, oiling neck, and polishing frets when necessary. We spray out any pots that are noisy, turn the truss rod (if necessary) and set string height at low-to-medium action depending on string buzz present. Since setup is highly subjective you may need to get it set to your particular needs by your personal luthier. Basses get the same treatment minus the string change. Thanks!
Packing
I use quality boxes, thick bubble wrap, and peanuts to pack guitars. I have a very high rate of successful guitar and bass shipping (meaning few damaged instruments). I have been doing this 10 years and know how to pack well--with or without a hard case.
