FENDER LITE ASH TELECASTER SPECIAL 2004 KOREA BIRDSEYE NECK MIK Tele 70676
Rare Tele version with some killer features.
Description
You're looking at a rare 2011 Fender Lite Ash Tele in black finish in excellent condition. These are just stunning guitars to look at and play. The neck alone is a like a work of art with birdseye maple all over the fretboard and neck and mother of pearl dot inlays (see the close up pics below)--wow! These guitars were dreamed up by the Fender Japan Custom Shop but produced in Korea and Indonesia only for a few years (this one is Indonesian). Based on classic 52' style specs, the guitar has a 3-ply tortoise pickguard, ashtray bridge with brass saddles, classic control plate with rounded-top control knobs and 3-way selector switch. The neck a 2-piece birdseye maple sporting 22 medium jumbo frets and beautiful abalone dot inlays and a comfy C-profile--it's chunky feeling, not your average Tele neck. The headstock features a Fender gold spaghetti logo and two Fender string trees for improved performance, as well as Gotoh designed tuners. The hot Seymour Duncan pickup in the bridge is stock from the factory and sounds killer. The guitar is very clean condition with no major dings or scratches. Frets in great shape. Weight is 7 pounds, 14 ounces. No case. I pack for bombproof to get there in good condition. I do a full cleaning and setup on all guitars. (Details on my setups and packing at bottom of listing.) Thanks for looking.

Guitar Setup
My setup on guitars includes new strings (9s or 10s depending on what the nut is cut for), overall polish, cleaning any gunk off fingerboard, oiling neck, and polishing frets when necessary. I spray out any pots that are noisy. I turn the truss rod (if necessary) and set string height at low-to-medium action depending on string buzz present. Since setup is highly subjective you may need to get it set to your particular needs by your personal luthier. I don't claim to be a trained luthier, but I'm able to set guitars/basses for a reasonable out-of-box experience and have had very few complaints. If you're looking for the perfect setup on a used guitar, please expect to take it to a trained luthier who is familiar with your individual playing style and preferences. ps: basses get the same setup minus the new strings. Thanks!
Packing
I use quality boxes, thick bubble wrap, and peanuts to pack guitars. I have a very high rate of successful guitar and bass shipping (meaning few damaged instruments). I have been doing this 10 years and know how to pack well--with or without a hard case. I wrote a detailed story with photos on how I pack a guitar, which you can find on my StillKickinMusic site blog. If you Google "THERE IN ONE PIECE...How to Pack a Guitar" you will find it. Thanks.
