FENDER MIJ '72 Stratocaster Rare 1992 Natural CST-50M Japan Strat + OHSC 26535
Description
So here we have a 1992-93 vintage Fender '72 Stratocaster re-issue, made in Japan. It has an M + 6-digit serial, says "Made in Japan" (not crafted). The model number stamped in the neck pocket is "CST-50M EX," with the "EX" standing for "export." From what I've pieced together on the internet, I believe this has the same specs as the Japanese ST-72 model.
The condition is good with some marks noted in pictures. Fender/Fujigen quality with the large 70s style headstock, bullet truss rod, stock Gotoh tuners and all maple 3-bolt neck. The pickguard is a blue tortoise and bridge saddles have been upgraded to graphite. Frets are good with some flattening. Comes with the original Fender case though it is in poor condition and covered with stickers. Literally held together in one spot with duct tape, but it will still protect the guitar.
The CST-50M is outfitted with a C-shape 7.25" radius neck with 21 vintage spec frets and vintage style tremolo. It shows beautiful woodgrain all over body and neck. Weight is 9 pounds, 0 ounces. The guitar will come to you fully cleaned and with a fresh setup. (Details on my setups and packing at bottom of listing.) Thanks for looking!

Guitar Setup
All our setups are done by our in-house trained luthier. Setup includes new strings (9s or 10s depending on what the nut is cut for), overall polish, cleaning any gunk off fingerboard, oiling neck, and polishing frets when necessary. We spray out any pots that are noisy, turn the truss rod (if necessary) and set string height at low-to-medium action depending on string buzz present. Since setup is highly subjective you may need to get it set to your particular needs by your personal luthier. Basses get the same treatment minus the string change. Thanks!
Packing
I use quality boxes, thick bubble wrap, and peanuts to pack guitars. I have a very high rate of successful guitar and bass shipping (meaning few damaged instruments). I have been doing this 10 years and know how to pack well--with or without a hard case. I wrote a detailed story with photos on how I pack a guitar, which you can find on my StillKickinMusic site blog. If you Google "THERE IN ONE PIECE...How to Pack a Guitar" you will find it. Thanks.
