FENDER PAWN SHOP SUPER-SONIC Clean! 2012 Orange Flake Offset Guitar + case 02379
Description
This is a 2012 Fender Pawn Shop Super-Sonic guitar in Sunfire Orange Flake finish. It comes with some factory paperwork, tremolo bar and case. The guitar is in awesome cosmetic and playing condition. These are some of the most distinctive looking guitars put out by Fender recently. The offset body, the reverse headstock, dual slanted zebra humbuckers and awesome sparkle finish--doesn't get much more fun that that. Add in the string-thru body and tremolo, plus dual volume controls (no tone knob) and you've got a unique guitar. This 2012 is very clean and in a rare, hard to get finish. No dings or scratches that I can see, except pickguard scuffing. There is only wear to the frets, so it's been played, but still looks and plays great. You'll see in the pictures both the neck and headstock have some excellent wood grain patterns. Weight is 8 pounds, 2 ounces. Comes with a zip up rectangular polyfoam case, the kind that has the safety of a hard case, but is a little lighter. It's missing the rear tremolo cover. I do a full cleaning and setup on all guitars. (Details on my setups and packing at bottom of listing.) I may end auction early if it sells elsewhere. Thanks for looking!

Manufacturer info
With a few modern touches, the Pawn Shop Super-Sonic model resurrects an unusual, short-lived and increasingly collectible ancestor of the late 1990s,the Squier Vista Series Super-Sonic guitar. Very little about the Pawn Shop Super-Sonic isn't highly distinctive--from its diminutive offset "reverse" body (resembling an upside-down Jazzmaster or Jaguar) and upside-down headstock to its short scale (24") and dual canted Atomic humbucking pickups (only the bridge pickup was canted on the original Squier models). Then there are the controls--neck pickup volume and bridge pickup volume only (no tone control), which are reverse-wired like the Squier original, meaning that the bridge pickup volume is the one closest to the bridge and the neck pickup volume is the one farthest from it. Other features include a "C"-shaped maple neck with"bullet"-style truss rod, 9.5"-radius rosewood fingerboard with 22 medium-jumbo frets, 3-way toggle, dual Jazz Bass control knobs and a 3-ply parchment pickguard. Available in apple red flake, dark gunmetal flake and sunfire orange.
Guitar Setup
All setups are done by our in-house luthier. Setup includes new strings (9s or 10s depending on what the nut is cut for), overall polish, cleaning any gunk off fingerboard, oiling neck, and polishing frets when necessary. We spray out any pots that are noisy, turn the truss rod (if necessary) and set string height at low-to-medium action depending on string buzz present. Since setup is highly subjective you may need to get it set to your particular needs by your personal luthier. Basses get the same treatment minus the string change. Thanks!
Packing
I use quality boxes, thick bubble wrap, and peanuts to pack guitars. I have a very high rate of successful guitar and bass shipping (meaning few damaged instruments). I have been doing this 10 years and know how to pack well--with or without a hard case. I wrote a detailed story with photos on how I pack a guitar, which you can find on my StillKickinMusic site blog. If you Google "THERE IN ONE PIECE...How to Pack a Guitar" you will find it. Thanks.
