Road worn Strat in Sunburst--sweet!

You're looking at a 2011 Fender Player Series Road Worn Stratocaster in sunburst finish. It is in excellent condition. If you're familiar with the 50s Classic Series Road Worn, this is similar but it mixes in more modern features with the road worn look. Instead of a soft V neck with 7.25 radius, this opts for a modern C-shape with a flatter 9.5" radius. Frets are medium jumbo vs 6105 style. It also has 3-ply black pickguard, as opposed to single ply. Hotter Texas Special pickups give a little extra sizzle. So if you like the road worn look but want a modern feel, you'll like this guitar. Fender did a nice job on these lightly reliced guitars. They have tasteful wear showing the wood under the finish in appropriate places such as the armrest and lower curve. All the hardware is dulled and has a light patina of scuffs and marks. Attention to detail is pretty amazing for a guitar in this price range. Back of neck nicely worn down to wood for a faster satin feel. It plays better than most Strats I've had come through my shop lately. Get this. You won't be sorry. Comes with tremolo arm and Fender paperwork, but no case. Weight is 7 pounds, 4 ounces. Guitar Setup
My setup on guitars includes new strings (9s or 10s depending on what the nut is cut for), overall polish, cleaning any gunk off fingerboard, oiling neck, and polishing frets when necessary. I spray out any pots that are noisy. I turn the truss rod (if necessary) and set string height at low-to-medium action depending on string buzz present. Since setup is highly subjective you may need to get it set to your particular needs by your personal luthier. I don't claim to be a trained luthier, but I'm able to set guitars/basses for a reasonable out-of-box experience and have had very few complaints. If you're looking for the perfect setup on a used guitar, please expect to take it to a trained luthier who is familiar with your individual playing style and preferences. ps: basses get the same setup minus the new strings. Packing
I use quality boxes, thick bubble wrap, and peanuts to pack guitars. I have a very high rate of successful guitar and bass shipping (meaning few damaged instruments).
