This is a 201 Fender Special Edition 60s Stratocaster Lacquer in Daphne Blue. Very rare guitar only made for one year as a special run. All the 60s design components including a nitrocellulose (nitro) finish AND matched painted headstock. Some people mistake this color for Cerulean Blue because the Classic Series were made in that color and they are very similar, but punching this one’s serial number into Fender’s serial lookup says it’s 2015 Lacquer and Daphne Blue

These have a C-shaped neck with 7.25” vintage radius, and rosewood fretboard on maple neck. The pickguard is mint green and everything about this guitar just screams vintage mojo. The matched headstock is really the icing on the cake. Cosmetically, this one is still very clean. There are some marks around the forward strap pin and on the butt of the guitar, as well as an almost invisible discoloration on the top (see pics). I believe these all came from a black strap used by previous owner. Really overall it still looks amazing. Frets have. mild wear, mostly around the cowboy chord area. Weight is a nicely balanced 7 pounds, 8 ounces. No case or tremolo bar. I do a full cleaning and setup on all guitars. (Details on my setups and packing at bottom of listing.) Thanks for looking!

Guitar Setup
All setups are done by our in-house luthier. Setup includes new strings (9s or 10s depending on what the nut is cut for), overall polish, cleaning any gunk off fingerboard, oiling neck, and polishing frets when necessary. We spray out any pots that are noisy, turn the truss rod (if necessary) and set string height at low-to-medium action depending on string buzz present. Since setup is highly subjective you may need to get it set to your particular needs by your personal luthier. Basses get the same treatment minus the string change. Thanks!
Packing
I use quality boxes, thick bubble wrap, and peanuts to pack guitars. I have a very high rate of successful guitar and bass shipping (meaning few damaged instruments). I have been doing this 10 years and know how to pack well--with or without a hard case.
