Fender Telecaster bass--for less than 2 grand...imagine that!
You're looking at a 2011 Fender Modern Player Telecaster Bass in Butterscotch finish. Super clean condition. Frets and neck are great. The two humbuckers in this sound, deep, booming and massive. Nice chance to get a Tele bass and not have to spend a couple grand. These are discontinued--and not a lot floating around. People are holding onto them. So grab this one while you can. Brass barrel saddles on a high-mass bridge, all maple neck, Tele headstock, tummy cut, Fender engraved neck plate--lots of nice details. I have just gone over the entire bass, completely cleaned and setup. They are made in China, but they are great basses--period! If you are after that vintage beef tone vibe, you will be a happy camper. Cosmetically, totally clean except for a finish chip at back of neck pocket (pics below). Weight is 9 pounds, 7 ounces.
