Fender Telecaster bass--for less than 2 grand...imagine that!
You're looking at a 2011 Fender Modern Player Telecaster Bass in Sunburst finish. This still has the plastic on the pickguard and plastic covering the pickups. Near mint condition. Frets are clean. The two humbuckers in this sound, deep, booming and massive. Nice chance to get a Tele bass and not have to spend a couple grand. These are discontinued--and not a lot floating around. People are holding onto them. So grab this one while you can. (Last one I had sold in 1 day.) Brass barrel saddles on a high-mass bridge, all maple neck, killer Tele headstock, tummy cut, Fender engraved neck plate--lots of nice details. I have just gone over the entire bass, completely cleaned and setup. Yea, I know, but it's made in China...guess what, these are great basses--period! If you are after that vintage beef tone vibe, you will be a happy camper. Weight is approximately 9 and a half pounds. No case. Thanks for looking!
