Description
This is a classic Gallien-Krueger 250ML vintage 80s combo amp (see pics below), made famous by Rush's Alex Lifeson. It is in excellent working and cosmetic condition--All knobs and buttons work crisp and clean. I didn't know what all the hoopla was about these till I got one and plugged it in. Really, really cool sounds from this tiny, lightweight amp. I can see why guys plug them into large cabs and use it for their main sound. Very exacting EQ, so you can warm it up if you want. Sounds great with the onboard Chorus and Echo (chorus is a true stereo chorus like on a Roland Jazz Chorus amp). It has two channels, so you can do a clean and dirty sound (switch channels on front of amp or with footswitch--not included). Has a compressor, headphone out, direct out and effects loop. For a 30+ year old amp, the cosmetic condition is amazing. The speakers work well though the outer "surround" of the speaker has deteriorated, as often happens on these. Thanks for looking.
