You're looking at a really cool 2004 Gibson Les Paul Melody Maker in faded TV Yellow finish. Dog ear P-90 pickup on a slab mahogany body and neck with rosewood fingerboard and chunky rounded neck profile. The P-90 strapped to the body makes for some serious growl and sustain, and the thin nitro finish lets the tone come through. Also nice to look at with the light relic wear. The 2002-2007 Melody Makers (the years with the dog-ear P90) have really come into their own. They now command a resale almost as high as a similarly equipped LP Junior for a few reasons: 1) They have a thinner body and are super lightweight (6 pounds, 9 ounces), but still pump out huge sound. 2) Without a thick gloss finish these faded versions don't hold back your tone, and 3) The Tune-o-Matic bridge allows for exact intonation, unlike the wraparound variety on most Juniors. Guitar Setup

All our setups are done by our in-house trained luthier. Setup includes new strings (9s or 10s depending on what the nut is cut for), overall polish, cleaning any gunk off fingerboard, oiling neck, and polishing frets when necessary. We spray out any pots that are noisy, turn the truss rod (if necessary) and set string height at low-to-medium action depending on string buzz present. Since setup is highly subjective you may need to get it set to your particular needs by your personal luthier. Basses get the same treatment minus the string change. Thanks!

Packing

I use quality boxes, thick bubble wrap, and peanuts to pack guitars. I have a very high rate of successful guitar and bass shipping (meaning few damaged instruments). I have been doing this 10 years and know how to pack well--with or without a hard case.
