Gibson 2017 Les Paul 60s Tribute Goldtop w/ Vibramate V7 & Bigsby B5 HSC 50982
Description
You're looking at a 2017 Gibson Les Paul 60s Tribute in a nitro goldtop finish that has been outfitted with a Vibramate V7 & Bigsby B5 tremolo. The tremolo works flawlessly, super smooth. Vibramate is designed to require no new screw holes in the guitar, so it can be returned to original if desired. Features:
— Mahogany body & neck, rosewood board
— Legendary 60s SlimTaper neck profile
— Bigsby B5 & Vibramate V7
These Tributes have a nice thin coat of nitro for better sustain and tone. Chrome covered 490 humbucker pickups, aged plastics, Kluson style tuners. Comes with black hard case and all paperwork including Gibson strap and cleaning cloth. Overall clean condition. The goldtop is super clean. Back and edges have some mild rash (see pics). Frets are in A+ condition. NOTE: If this does not sell in a week I will be removing the Vibramate and selling it separately (they are worth $300 alone!). Details on my setups and packing, as well as full specs, below. Thanks for looking.
What You Get
-- Full setup, cleaning, and new strings.
-- FREE USA shipping.
-- 30-day return policy.
-- Ship within 1 business day--pro packing.
Guitar Setup
Setup includes new strings (9s or 10s depending on what the nut is cut for), overall polish, cleaning any gunk off fingerboard, oiling neck, and polishing frets when necessary. We spray out any pots that are noisy, turn the truss rod (if necessary) and set string height at low-to-medium action depending on string buzz present. Since setup is highly subjective you may need to get it set to your particular needs by your personal luthier. Basses get the same treatment minus the string change. Thanks!
Packing
I use quality boxes, thick bubble wrap, and peanuts to pack guitars. I have a very high rate of successful guitar and bass shipping (meaning few damaged instruments). I have been doing this 15 years and know how to pack well--with or without a hard case. I wrote a detailed story with photos on how I pack a guitar, which you can find on my StillKickinMusic site blog. If you Google "Still Kickin - How to Pack a Guitar" you will find it. Thanks.

The Tribute T's satin-finished mahogany/maple body is made more comfortable through weight relief. Its SlimTaper mahogany neck honors a style beloved throughout the ages. And Tektoid tuners and modern Gold Top Hat knobs offer the charms of a vintage instrument without the cost. Pair these with a set of vintage-style 490 humbuckers, and you've got a guitar that's fine enough to be your daily driver, yet affordable enough to be your weekend warrior: the Gibson Les Paul Tribute T.
Plek'd for precision playability
This Les Paul Tribute 2017 T feels fast and precise, thanks in large part to Plek processing. Typically reserved for top-dollar custom guitars, this process levels the frets with pinpoint precision, providing you with the most playable fretboard you're likely to own. Each note rings loud and clear, and the fret edges feel smooth as silk.
SlimTaper mahogany neck plays fast and smooth
The neck on this Tribute T Les Paul is a breath of fresh air. Its SlimTaper neck profile conforms naturally to the hand, for smooth leads up top and fast licks down low. If you're looking for the comfort of a '60s Gibson, Sweetwater recommends the Tribute T.
Gibson 490 pickups are a modern take on a 1960s classic
English guitarists of the 1960s were looking for a more aggressive sound to push their modern brand of blues, rock, and soul. Gibson responded with its 490 pickup set. These had more bite than Gibson's PAF ("Patent Applied For") pickups of the 1950s. The reissue 490T and 490R pay tribute to this turning point in rock history. Their voice is smooth and clearly vintage inspired, yet to our ears has more high-end cut and midrange chutzpah than vintage pickups. They're also wax potted to reduce microphonic feedback, which is a big win with high-gain amp pairings.
