This is a 2010 Gibson Les Paul 50s Tribute in a sweet ebony finish with creme plastics. This is a rare chance to get this color and feature combo because Gibson didn't make many P90 versions with the 50s neck and this color scheme. Beautiful guitar with amazing tone and feel. Legendary P90 pickups are the power under the hood, and the body has a thin nitro finish to let the tone come through. This guitar is in excellent playing condition and has been lightly aged from playing so it looks like a nicely reliced guitar. When you strap it on, the first thing you notice is it won't break your back due to its weight relieved mahogany body. The next thing you notice is the TONE from the P90 pickups. The rounded 50s neck profile is much less common on these Tributes and it fills the hand nicely. Like a 60s Slim Taper but just a bit more chunky.
Tuners have been upgraded to Grover Rotomatic tuners with keystone buttons. It has large neck inlays, aged plastics and gold knobs. These guitars tend to show wear and achieve a relic look quickly. This one has some really cool finish wear around the edges already. Looks lovingly played like a nice road worn axe. No major marks, just the good looking kind. The Les Paul Studio '50s Tribute 2016 T has a traditional Les Paul mahogany body with a grain textured, satin finish maple top, as well as a mahogany neck with a '50s profile and a 22-fret rosewood fingerboard. The time-tested selection of tonewoods, while Green Keys-style tuners and the faithful Tune-O-Matic bridge keep your tuning stability and intonation true during even the longest gigs.

Guitar Setup
All setups are done by our in-house luthier. Setup includes new strings (9s or 10s depending on what the nut is cut for), overall polish, cleaning any gunk off fingerboard, oiling neck, and polishing frets when necessary. We spray out any pots that are noisy, turn the truss rod (if necessary) and set string height at low-to-medium action depending on string buzz present. Since setup is highly subjective you may need to get it set to your particular needs by your personal luthier. Basses get the same treatment minus the string change. Thanks!
Packing
I use quality boxes, thick bubble wrap, and peanuts to pack guitars. I have a very high rate of successful guitar and bass shipping (meaning few damaged instruments). I have been doing this 10 years and know how to pack well--with or without a hard case.
