Gibson Les Paul Junior TV Yellow Bone Stock 2011 USA Dog Ear P90 Jr 21564
Description
You're looking at a 2011 Gibson Les Paul Junior in rare TV Yellow gloss finish. It looks and plays amazing. The single dog-ear P-90 pickup does the honors and has a legendary sound. Strapped to a mahogany body and neck, it's pure rock and roll bliss. This was made before they started using on the wonky Robot Tuners and extra wide necks in 2015.
Frets and neck in excellent shape and plays great all over the neck. Cosmetically, there are two dings on the upper curve of the guitar and a couple more tiny marks (see pics). An 11-year-old guitar with nicely aged woods to go along with it. Ready to go into service for its next owner. It's getting really hard to find just a good old stock TV Yellow Junior like this one. Weight is a very comfortable 7 pounds, 4 ounces. I do a full cleaning and setup on all guitars. (Details on my setups and packing at bottom of listing.) Thanks for looking!
What You Get
-- Full setup, cleaning, and new strings.
-- FREE USA shipping.
-- 30-day return policy.

Guitar Setup
All setups are done by our in-house luthier. Setup includes new strings (9s or 10s depending on what the nut is cut for), overall polish, cleaning any gunk off fingerboard, oiling neck, and polishing frets when necessary. We spray out any pots that are noisy, turn the truss rod (if necessary) and set string height at low-to-medium action depending on string buzz present. Since setup isˇhighly subjectiveˇyou may need to get it set to your particular needs by your personal luthier. Basses get the same treatment minus the string change. Thanks!
Packing
I use quality boxes, thick bubble wrap, and peanuts to pack guitars. I have a very high rate of successful guitar and bass shipping (meaning few damaged instruments). I have been doing this 10 years and know how to pack well--with or without a hard case. I wrote a detailed story with photos on how I pack a guitar, which you can find on my StillKickinMusic site blog. If you Google "THERE IN ONE PIECE...How to Pack a Guitar" you will find it. Thanks.
Manufacturer Info
The simple, no-nonsense Les Paul Junior has long been a favorite for everything from down and dirty rock and roll, to meanstreet blues, to raw garage punk. With a light all-mahogany body and one roaring P-90 pickup, this guitar is totally down to business, while surprisingly versatile. Now Gibson USA introduces the Les Paul Junior in three great new finishes—TV Yellow, Pelham Blue, and Tobacco Burst—all in genuine nitrocellulose lacquer and hand buffed to a high gloss. Simple, screaming, superbly playable and undeniably hip, the Les Paul Junior has been a force to be reckoned with since 1954, and it’s still a powerhouse here in the 21st century.
Just like the first Junior to roll off the line in Kalamazoo 57 years ago, the Les Paul Junior from Gibson USA is made from choice solid mahogany. An archetypal tonewood used in countless classic Gibson electric guitars, mahogany has a sonic depth and richness that can’t be beat, yet always remains clear and articulate. The guitar’s neck is also made from solid mahogany cut to the superior quarter-sawn orientation, carved to the fast yet comfortable SlimTaper™ profile, and glued into the body with the time-tested mortise & tenon joint that promotes resonance and sustain. It carries a baked maple fingerboard with 22 medium-jumbo frets and a 12-inch radius for easy, choke-free bending. A PLEK-cut Corian nut ensures precise intonation while enhancing sustain, which is further aided by Gibson’s traditional 17-degree back-angled headstock, silkscreened with the gold Gibson logo and “LP Model,” just like the originals.
The heart of the Les Paul Junior has always been found in its hot, raw P-90 pickup, and this guitar is no different. This accurate reproduction of Gibson’s favorite single-coil pickup is wound with 42-AWG wire and employs a pair of genuine Alnico V bar magnets for a sound that is equally as smooth as it is snarly, with characteristic P-90 edge and bite to cut through any mix. Hardware includes a “lightning bar” wraparound tailpiece with raised compensated saddle ridge for improved intonation and vintage-style tuners with white plastic buttons retain the retro styling up at the headstock.
