Gibson Les Paul Triumph Bass 70s Walnut +HSC 20136
This is a Gibson Les Paul Triumph bass made in the 70s (pot code date 1973). Overall in good working order. It plays nicely all over the neck. Frets are the standard flattened vintage Gibson variety, but plenty of life left to fret all notes.
At some point a previous owner removed the mini-transformer these came with, so the “Hi/Lo” output switch only works in the “Hi” position. Works like a kill switch if you switch to “Low." Not really sure that function translates well to modern playing, so may be why it was removed. You’ll see from pics that all other electronics appear original. All three tone positions and phase switch function great and both pickups sound good. All three knobs work like they should.
Cosmetically, some standard play wear for its age. There is one crack along the edge of the body shown in pics. I think the body is still plenty solid. Weight is 10 pounds, 6 ounces. Comes with black Coffin Case which fits the bass pretty well but has an improvised handle. Details on my setups and packing at bottom of listing. Thanks for looking. ps: Ask all questions before you buy it. If this doesn't sell in a couple weeks, I will be parting it out.
