You're looking at a 1997 Gibson SG-X in a Wine Red translucent finish. These were produced for only a few years. I have bought and sold many SG-X guitars. These are ridiculously hard to find so grab it fast. This particular SG-X is in player's condition with plenty of small marks but no huge dings. Just nicely worn in look.
What's really cool is the light patina of check marks on the headstock. Just has a nice overall relic vibe. This was made early in the SG-X run so it has the "SG-I" truss rod cover, which is pretty rare. Gibson initially marketed them as SG-I and then changed the name to SG-X after only a few months. Frets are in very good condition. These have 24-fret, two octave necks that set up and play really amazing. They also have a mini-switch to split the humbucker, which is a massive sounding 500T. Weight is a very light 6 pounds, 9 ounces. I do a full cleaning and setup on all guitars. No case. (Details on my setups and packing at bottom of listing.) Thanks for looking.

Guitar Setup
All our setups are done by our in-house trained luthier. Setup includes new strings (9s or 10s depending on what the nut is cut for), overall polish, cleaning any gunk off fingerboard, oiling neck, and polishing frets when necessary. We spray out any pots that are noisy, turn the truss rod (if necessary) and set string height at low-to-medium action depending on string buzz present. Since setup is highly subjective you may need to get it set to your particular needs by your personal luthier. Basses get the same treatment minus the string change. Thanks!
Packing
I use quality boxes, thick bubble wrap, and peanuts to pack guitars. I have a very high rate of successful guitar and bass shipping (meaning few damaged instruments). I have been doing this 10 years and know how to pack well--with or without a hard case.
