Description
This is a 1989 Peavey Rudy Sarzo Signature bass in red with Purple Heart stringers. Comes with original hard case. Beautiful craftsmanship on this bass. So many features: 2-octave neck with ebony board and Alien Eye inlays, brass nut. Gold hardware with high mass bridge. The bass can be flipped from Active to Passive with the mini-switch.

Controls are Volume/Blend, plus Hi/Mid/Lo when Active is engaged. The bass cranks in the Acitve mode---absolutely high output. Total beauty with wood grain showing through the translucent finish. The variety of sounds you can get from this bass is huge. Way more for your money that you'll get with Fender. Cosmetically, it's got players marks but still looks great. Frets in very good condition with a few rough spots on the bass side up high. Don't affect playing and I'll sand those out in the setup too. Battery cover not made to last so it's taped in. Guitar Setup
All our setups are done by our in-house trained luthier. Setup includes new strings (9s or 10s depending on what the nut is cut for), overall polish, cleaning any gunk off fingerboard, oiling neck, and polishing frets when necessary. We spray out any pots that are noisy, turn the truss rod (if necessary) and set string height at low-to-medium action depending on string buzz present. Since setup is highly subjective you may need to get it set to your particular needs by your personal luthier. Basses get the same treatment minus the string change. Thanks!

Packing
I use quality boxes, thick bubble wrap, and peanuts to pack guitars. I have a very high rate of successful guitar and bass shipping (meaning few damaged instruments). I have been doing this 10 years and know how to pack well--with or without a hard case.
