PEAVEY T-40 Vintage 1983 Bass Walnut Bill Lawrence PUs 53891

Description
You're looking at a Peavey T-40 bass in custom walnut finish, made in the USA in 1983. These are very solid, reliable basses that last forever. Has Bill Lawrence EB-50 blade style pickups that really sound amazing. This bass is near 40 years vintage now. The walnut finish is not original. At some point in its life someone sanded it bare and then stained it and put a clear coat on top. Really looks and plays great.

Cosmetically, the body is clean. Only the neck shows some player's wear (see pics). The frets are in very good condition. There is a fine stress crack on the first fret. This bass is a solid player and it's about a pound lighter than some T-40s I've owned at 10 pounds, 14 ounces. No case. I do a full cleaning and setup on all guitars. Guitar Setup
All our setups are done by our in-house luthier. Setup includes new strings (9s or 10s depending on what the nut is cut for), overall polish, cleaning any gunk off fingerboard, oiling neck, and polishing frets when necessary. We spray out any pots that are noisy, turn the truss rod (if necessary) and set string height at low-to-medium action depending on string buzz present. Since setup is highly subjective you may need to get it set to your particular needs by your personal luthier. Basses get the same treatment minus the string change. Thanks!

Packing
I use quality boxes, thick bubble wrap, and peanuts to pack guitars. I have a very high rate of successful guitar and bass shipping (meaning few damaged instruments). I have been doing this 10 years and know how to pack well--with or without a hard case.
