Fender Modern Player Telecaster Bass 2012 - Sunburst 04531

Description
You're looking at a Fender Modern Player Telecaster Bass in Sunburst finish, made in 2012. These were made for a short time and are now rare. Weight = 9lbs, 6oz.

Condition
Cosmetically it still looks real clean from the front. The rear edges have two dings (see pics). Frets and neck are in very good condition. These have very soft nickel hardware and I've just gone through and polished everything. But some visible clouding is permanent at this point and just makes hardware look kinda vintage. All electronics work great. Bass is fully functional with no playing issues.

Sound & Playability
These are a lot of fun to play. Tinted C neck and medium jumbo frets feel good in the hand. Most of all the wide range pickups have a big, fat vintage sound unlike other basses. Made in China but you'll be surprised by the quality. Plays smooth with nice action. Discontinued model grab this while you can. All stock but previous owner did line the bottom of pickguard and all cavities with copper shielding which is nice for noise canceling. NO case. I do a full cleaning and setup on all guitars. Thanks!

Guitar Setup
Setup includes new strings (9s or 10s depending on what the nut is cut for), overall polish, clean and oil fingerboard. We spray out any pots that are noisy, turn the truss rod (if necessary) and set string height at low-to-medium action depending on string buzz present. We do a basic setup since setup is highly subjective you may want to get it set to your particular needs by your personal luthier anyway. Thanks!
