Description (More pics below)
This is a stunning 2012 Gibson 70s Les Paul Tribute in a satin Goldtop finish that is really pretty. Comes with aftermarket hard case. Weight = 8lbs, 11oz.
Condition
Cosmetically, the guitar looks amazing. It has a clean looking top with play wear on the back and edges (see pics). Gives it a light relic look. Frets are in great condition. All stock, no mods.
Features
— Nitro finished satin mahogany body w/ maple top
— Unique 70s thin-to-thick neck profile
— Dual mini-humbuckers for bright 70s tone
—Green tulip Kluson tuners, trapezoid neck inlays, and aged plastics and gold knobs
Sound & Playability
When you strap it on, the first thing you notice is it won't break your back. Has traditional weight relief to make gigging fun again. The next thing you notice is the TONE: The dual Dual Blade Alnico mini-humbuckers have a vintage tone and retro look. Baked maple fretboard and slightly chunky 70s neck feel good in the hands. Plays great all over. No dead spots. Electronics clean, no issues. I do a full setup and expert packing: details below. Free FedEx shipping in USA. Full specs below. Thanks! PS: I ship to most countries in Europe (not France), Asia, and Oceania--contact for quote!
Guitar Setup
Setup includes new strings (9s or 10s depending on what the nut is cut for), overall polish, clean and oil fingerboard. We spray out any pots that are noisy, turn the truss rod (if necessary) and set string height at low-to-medium action depending on string buzz present. We do a basic setup since setup is highly subjective you may want to get it set to your particular needs by your personal luthier anyway. Thanks!
Packing
Search "How to Pack a Guitar + Hot Girls" on YouTube for a video showing how I pack. I use quality boxes, thick bubble wrap, and peanuts to pack guitars. I have been doing this 15 years and know how to pack well--with or without a hard case. You can also read my packing blog post on my StillKickinMusic website. If you Google "Still Kickin - How to Pack a Guitar" you will find it. Thanks.
Manufacturer Info
The Les Paul Studio '70s Tribute achieves the unique feel of a 1970s Les Paul with a thin-to-thick neck profile that starts out slim at the lower frets and becomes increasingly chunky as you slide toward the cutaway. The Les Paul Studio '70s Tribute looks great with a grain-textured satin nitrocellulose lacquer. The single cutaway body has a mahogany base with maple top. Top is carved and bound in creme binding. Maple neck is equipped with unique `70s contour and a classic mortise & tenon joint. Fingerboard is made of baked maple. Neck has 12" radius and 1.695" wide corian nut.

About Me
My store is a one-person small business that has been selling used guitars and basses for 15 years now. I do a basic setup and cleaning on every instrument I sell, so depending on workload it may be 1-2 business days before your guitar ships. When it arrives you can depend on it being, clean, set up, and securely packed. Check my feedback for confirmation. Thanks!
