PEAVEY T-60 Vintage 1982 Sunburst Beauty! Nice Condition + OHSC Blade PUs 77354

Description
You're looking at a vintage 1982 Peavey T-60 guitar in a beautiful sunburst finish. For my money, this finish really glows and looks better than all the others Peavey produced. This one is in great condition for a 36-year-old guitar. Comes with the original Peavey molded hard case. Frets show uniform wear with about 70% life left. Still plays well up and down the neck. Cosmetically, this guitar is in amazing shape for its age: some pickguard scuffing and a couple small marks on the edge and near the neck plate. A couple shallow marks on back of neck (see pics below). The case is in good working order though the interior has a mild smell of smoke. Also the values on the pots have drifted over the years, so one Tone knob seems to back the volume down when turned to zero. One mini-switch is the pickup selector, while the second acts as a phase switch, except when the bridge pickup is selected--then it acts as a kill switch. Weight is 9 pounds, 13 ounces--yes, it's solid! I do a full cleaning and setup on all guitars. (Details on my setups and packing at bottom of listing.) Thanks for looking!

TONE:
The nice thing about the T-60 is how versatile its tone palette is. You can go from thin Tele jangle tones to big fat rock distortion with the flip of a switch or turn of a knob. There's a reason these are still sought after guitars.

Guitar Setup
My setup on guitars includes new strings (9s or 10s depending on what the nut is cut for), overall polish, cleaning any gunk off fingerboard, oiling neck, and polishing frets when necessary. I spray out any pots that are noisy. I turn the truss rod (if necessary) and set string height at low-to-medium action depending on string buzz present. Since setup is highly subjective you may need to get it set to your particular needs by your personal luthier. I don't claim to be a trained luthier, but I'm able to set guitars/basses for a reasonable out-of-box experience and have had very few complaints. If you're looking for the perfect setup on a used guitar, please expect to take it to a trained luthier who is familiar with your individual playing style and preferences. ps: basses get the same setup minus the new strings. Packing
I use quality boxes, thick bubble wrap, and peanuts to pack guitars. I have a very high rate of successful guitar and bass shipping (meaning few damaged instruments).
