First off, pink seems to be a love it or hate it type color. Personally, we think shell pink (or Pepto-Bismol pink) looks awesome. Even better when you find "buried treasure" like we did on this relic. We knew previous owner had done a refin and once we got through that layer of pink--surprise!--there was a sweet layer of candy apple red peeking through. This two-tone look is one the Fender Custom Shop often employs, purposely painting two color coats to achieve the effect. We think these two colors really work well together, and you even get a bonus third hue--a light blue highlight where the pink wears away. Didn't take long for this one to sell.
