Up for sale is a 1984 Fender American Standard Stratocaster in Gun Metal Blue Metallic finish. Really nice condition and has been upgraded with Lace Sensor pickups. Weight = 7lbs, 12oz.

Features
Previous owner changed pickups to Lace Sensors and the controls are master Volume/Tone and three on/off mini-switches for each pickup. These are the older Lace Sensors where the name is not recessed on the pickup. The pickups can be used in any combination, so unlike with a 5-way switch, you can have all 3 pickups engaged, or even the neck/bridge combination, so more flexible. Stock 2-point tremolo and tuners. C-shape, 9.5" radius maple neck with jumbo frets.

Condition
Very clean for its age with no obvious dings or scratches. Back of neck has no marks and feels smooth while playing. Frets have some flattening but it plays fine as-is. Missing rear tremolo cover.

Playability/Tone
This is a really great player. Feels/plays great all around the neck. The pickups sound killer. Hot output but not noisy. This well-preserved 42-year-old vintage Strat is really something. Comes with tremolo bar but NO case. I do a full setup and expert packing: details below. Thanks!

Guitar Setup
Setup includes new strings (9s or 10s depending on what the nut is cut for), overall polish, cleaning any gunk off fingerboard, oiling neck, and polishing frets when necessary. We spray out any pots that are noisy, turn the truss rod (if necessary) and set string height at low-to-medium action depending on string buzz present. Since setup is highly subjective you may need to get it set to your particular needs by your personal luthier. Thanks!

Packing
I use quality boxes, thick bubble wrap, and peanuts to pack guitars. I have a very high rate of successful guitar and bass shipping (meaning few damaged instruments). I have been doing this 15 years and know how to pack well--with or without a hard case.
