Fender Vintage 80s Molded Hard Shell Case Precision Jazz P-Bass
Hard to find case!
Description
You're looking at a Fender hard case from the 80s. It's the black molded plastic type with black fur interior. Made to fit Precision and Jazz basses. It has the "Fender USA" logo emblazoned on the front and back and I've pictured both sides here. Overall condition is decent. Exterior plastic not broken, just has mild marks and some oxidation on the clasps. But all clasps and hinges work well. Interior fur is not ripped or smelly. Handle is good. Good working condition, but don't expect a museum piece. This has been around for 30+ years. The canvas straps that keep the case open are still intact but they tend to want to make the case close, so sometimes you have to hold it open. This case would be good if you have an 80s Fender and you want that factory stock case to go with it. No case keys included. Ask any questions before buying. Thanks for looking!

Packing
I use quality boxes, thick bubble wrap, and peanuts to pack guitars. I have a very high rate of successful guitar and bass shipping (meaning few damaged instruments). I have been doing this 10 years and know how to pack well--with or without a hard case. I wrote a detailed story with photos on how I pack a guitar, which you can find on my StillKickinMusic site blog. If you Google "THERE IN ONE PIECE...How to Pack a Guitar" you will find it. Thanks.
