This is a classic Gallien-Krueger 250ML vintage 80s combo amp, made famous by Rush's Alex Lifeson. I have owned perhaps 10 to 12 of these, and I've never seen one even close to this clean. It really looks like someone bought it and stored it away for the past 40 years and never used it. I say that because the paint looks newish, the knobs look new. Everything is very crisp, like it just came from the store. Importantly, it DOES make a difference in sound. This sounds far better than the past 250ML's I've had. The components have not "drifted" from use. The Chorus and Echo especially sound better.
You can get really amazing sounds from these tiny, lightweight amps. Very exacting EQ, so you can warm it up if you want. They have two channels, so you can do a clean and dirty sound (you can switch channels on front of amp or with footswitch--not included). Has a compressor, headphone out, direct out and effects loop. The amp obviously works perfectly. The sound is great. You can see a few minor scuffs just from moving it around, etc, but it's as clean as you'll find one. Thanks for looking.
