Fender 1984-87 Japan Precision Bass E Serial PB-562 Lake Place Blue! MIJ P 26393
Description
This is a vintage 1984-87 Fender Precision Bass, made in Japan in the Fujigen era. It's very clean for a 35-year-old bass, only minor marks. Features:
— Early vintage made in Japan quality instrument.
— 7.25” radius maple neck, rosewood board.
— All original w/ rare Lake Placid Blue finish.
The bass has an E + 6 digit serial number and says "Made in Japan" on the headstock and "FENDER" in all caps on the neck plate. Identified as model "PB-562" in the neck pocket and neck heel (see pics). Hardware is fairly clean. Some oxidation but better than most I see from this era. Minor finish marks (see pics). Medium size frets are in excellent condition. I have shown some of the more visible marks in pics but I can't show every tiny imperfection. Overall pretty clean. Weight is 8 pounds, 10 ounces. Guitar Setup
Setup includes new strings (9s or 10s depending on what the nut is cut for), overall polish, cleaning any gunk off fingerboard, oiling neck, and polishing frets when necessary. We spray out any pots that are noisy, turn the truss rod (if necessary) and set string height at low-to-medium action depending on string buzz present. Since setup is highly subjective you may need to get it set to your particular needs by your personal luthier. Thanks!
Packing
I use quality boxes, thick bubble wrap, and peanuts to pack guitars. I have a very high rate of successful guitar and bass shipping (meaning few damaged instruments). I have been doing this 15 years and know how to pack well--with or without a hard case.
