Fender 1998 American Deluxe Fat Stratocaster Stock & Clean USA Strat + HSC 14880

Description
This is a 1998 American Deluxe Fat Stratocaster in Crimson Transparent finish. The guitar is in excellent cosmetic and playing condition. When I got it, it had been sitting for a while. I spent several hours meticulously going over every inch, taking apart the bridge and tuners and cleaning and oiling all parts. I just peeled the protective cover from rear tremolo cover, so it’s like new. The push-in tremolo bar appears to be original. I pulled the pickguard and verified all pickups are factory stock and replaced all pickguard screws. I believe these can have ash or alder bodies, and at 8 pounds, 11 ounces, this must be ash.

These Strats have Schaller locking tuners, factory installed LSR roller nut, SCN Noiseless single coils, and a DH-1 humbucker. The frets are in absolutely great condition with no grooves and hardly even much flattening. Abalone dot inlays on the rosewood fingerboard look very nice. Amazing condition for 24-year-old guitar! Only some mild scuffs and tiny marks (see pics). Comes with fitted black Fender case. Not sure if it came with it from the factory, but probably did. I do a full cleaning and setup on all guitars. Guitar Setup
All our setups are done by our in-house trained luthier. Setup includes new strings (9s or 10s depending on what the nut is cut for), overall polish, cleaning any gunk off fingerboard, oiling neck, and polishing frets when necessary. We spray out any pots that are noisy, turn the truss rod (if necessary) and set string height at low-to-medium action depending on string buzz present. Since setup is highly subjective you may need to get it set to your particular needs by your personal luthier. Basses get the same treatment minus the string change. Thanks!

Packing
I use quality boxes, thick bubble wrap, and peanuts to pack guitars. I have a very high rate of successful guitar and bass shipping (meaning few damaged instruments).
