Fender 2004 Rare! P-Bass Junior +HSC Short Scale MIM Precision Jr 87550

This is a rare 2004 Fender Precision Bass Junior. They made these in Mexico for a limited run. Super lightweight (6lbs, 9oz). Comes with aftermarket hard case and nice Fender leather strap.

Condition
The front of this bass looks really nice. Back is marred by some buckle rash (see pics). Medium jumbo frets are in great condition. Plays well all over neck, no dead spots. Just totally cleaned, top to bottom and given full setup.

Sound & Playability
This is not a cheapo Squier bass. It's made to the specs of any Precision--just 10% smaller. You can string it through the body or through the bridge on this. It plays great--and oh so easy on the shoulder and back! I do a full setup and expert packing: details below. Thanks! The Fender P Bass JR has a select alder body with a maple neck in a modern C shape. The P Bass JR has a compact scale length that feels good on the rosewood fingerboard. But this is no toy! The P Bass JR is built to Precision Bass standards, with an authentic P Bass pickup.

Guitar Setup
Setup includes new strings (9s or 10s depending on what the nut is cut for), overall polish, cleaning any gunk off fingerboard, oiling neck, and polishing frets when necessary. We spray out any pots that are noisy, turn the truss rod (if necessary) and set string height at low-to-medium action depending on string buzz present. Since setup is highly subjective you may need to get it set to your particular needs by your personal luthier. Thanks!

Packing
I use quality boxes, thick bubble wrap, and peanuts to pack guitars. I have a very high rate of successful guitar and bass shipping (meaning few damaged instruments). I have been doing this 15 years and know how to pack well--with or without a hard case.
