This is a 2005 Fender American Standard Telecaster in Chrome Red finish (looks like Candy Apple). Excellent playing and cosmetic condition with original molded hard case. Weight = 8lbs, 5oz.

Condition
Cosmetically, the guitar is very clean. I have pictured the only notable imperfection, a very hard to see paint crack on the edge. Amazing a 20-year-vintage guitar is still this nice looking! Some tiny scuffs on back, but overall this thing is clean. Frets show uniform flattening and very mild grooves on the first couple frets, but have lots of life left. All stock, no mods.

Features
This guitar has a beautiful satin finish Micro-Tilt maple neck and rosewood fretboard. The back of neck is perfect (see pics), satin smooth and no marks. Alder body, nicely weighted, not too heavy with all the standard American quality you expect. All electronics work and sound as they should. Has a “no-load” Tone pot, with a detent at “10,” which removes the pot and cap completely from the signal path, providing cleaner signal and small boost (an underrated Fender innovation).

Guitar Setup
Setup includes new strings (9s or 10s depending on what the nut is cut for), overall polish, cleaning any gunk off fingerboard, oiling neck, and polishing frets when necessary. We spray out any pots that are noisy, turn the truss rod (if necessary) and set string height at low-to-medium action depending on string buzz present. Since setup is highly subjective you may need to get it set to your particular needs by your personal luthier. Thanks!

Packing
I use quality boxes, thick bubble wrap, and peanuts to pack guitars. I have a very high rate of successful guitar and bass shipping (meaning few damaged instruments). I have been doing this 15 years and know how to pack well--with or without a hard case.
