Description

This is a beautiful 2008 Fender spalted maple Telecaster--made in Korea. Very important that this is from the original run of these. the new 2020 run is made in Indonesia and you better believe a Korean made fender from 2008 is gonna be a completely different level of quality. It comes stock with Seymour Duncan humbuckers (Pearly Gates/'59). Beautiful bound body and neck, jumbo frets and abalone fret markers. Thin, lightweight Tele body and neck-thru construction.

Pretty amazing features at this price point. Super flat 15.75" radius neck! Cosmetically, this one is 9/10. There are no scratches or dings, only some very faint scuffs on the back. The frets are in excellent condition. These Tele's look like no other guitar--absolutely stunning top woods. The split coil feature is not active on this one, as I had to replace the tone pot and didn't have a push/pull pot handy.  Weight is 7 pounds, 13 ounces. This Custom Telecaster features a set neck and a carved Spalted Maple top on a slim, bound, mahogany body. Seymour Duncan pickups. All our setups are done by our in-house trained luthier. Setup includes new strings (9s or 10s depending on what the nut is cut for), overall polish, cleaning any gunk off fingerboard, oiling neck, and polishing frets when necessary. We spray out any pots that are noisy, turn the truss rod (if necessary) and set string height at low-to-medium action depending on string buzz present. Since setup is highly subjective you may need to get it set to your particular needs by your personal luthier. Basses get the same treatment minus the string change. Thanks!
