FENDER 2011 AMERICAN STANDARD PRECISION BASS V 5-String USA Black P-BASS 31638

This is a 2011 60th Anniversary Fender American Standard Precision Bass V in black. Bass in in excellent playing and cosmetic condition. Great sounding passive pickups and solid all maple neck, along with a hi-bass bridge. It's a real workhorse. For a 9-year-old bass it looks very nice. Two small marks in finish (see pics) and some basic swirl marks and worming on back. There are two dings on the top and bottom edges of the neck. We have filled, sanded and buffed both marks, so it feels nice and smooth sliding your hand on the neck. (close up pics provided). Frets are in A+ condition. Still looks great overall. No case. Weight is pretty light at 8 pounds, 13 ounces Get this one with some aged woods and save $450 off the new price--also has a commemorative neck plate for Fender's 60th Anniversary. Guitar Setup

All our setups are done by our in-house trained luthier. Setup includes new strings (9s or 10s depending on what the nut is cut for), overall polish, cleaning any gunk off fingerboard, oiling neck, and polishing frets when necessary. We spray out any pots that are noisy, turn the truss rod (if necessary) and set string height at low-to-medium action depending on string buzz present. Since setup is highly subjective you may need to get it set to your particular needs by your personal luthier. Basses get the same treatment minus the string change. Thanks!

Packing

I use quality boxes, thick bubble wrap, and peanuts to pack guitars. I have a very high rate of successful guitar and bass shipping (meaning few damaged instruments). I have been doing this 10 years and know how to pack well--with or without a hard case.
