Fender 2012 American Special Jazz Bass Olympic White USA J-Bass 72450
Description (More pics below)
This is a Fender American Special Jazz Bass in Olympic White produced in January of 2012. Excellent playing and cosmetic condition. Weight = 8lbs, 15oz.
Condition
The bass is in excellent condition except for one ding on the top edge (see pics). If not for the ding, which happened during shipping, it would be near perfect. Frets are in great condition. All factory stock setup.
Features
— Nitro finished alder body w/ all maple neck
— C-shape, 9.5” radius neck, med-jumbo frets
— Alnico Jazz pickups & Grease Bucket tone circuit
Sound & Playability
True American classic with the no-nonsense white/black look that would make Sid Vicious or Dee Dee Ramone proud. All maple satin-back neck with C-shape, 9.5” radius and med/jumbo frets are all “goldilocks” specs that feel good in the hands. Great sounding and comfortable feeling bass. Plays cleanly all over the neck. No issues, no disappointments, just a solid USA Fender bass. Cherry on top is my detailed setup and bulletproof packing. Thanks!
Note: there is an optional Road Runner aftermarket hard case available. The size of the case raises my shipping cost, so I'll include case for an extra $50. It's a $159 ABS molded case in good condition.
Recent Review:
"Guitar was packed perfectly for shipping. Everything arrived exactly as described. A lot of care and attention was put into the setup (intonation is perfect). Seller was nice enough to include some extras. Excellent seller! Thank you so much!"

Guitar Setup
Setup includes new strings (9s or 10s depending on what the nut is cut for), overall polish, cleaning any gunk off fingerboard, oiling neck, and polishing frets when necessary. We spray out any pots that are noisy, turn the truss rod (if necessary) and set string height at low-to-medium action depending on string buzz present. Since setup is highly subjective you may need to get it set to your particular needs by your personal luthier. Thanks!
Packing
I use quality boxes, thick bubble wrap, and peanuts to pack guitars. I have a very high rate of successful guitar and bass shipping (meaning few damaged instruments). I have been doing this 15 years and know how to pack well--with or without a hard case. I wrote a detailed story with photos on how I pack a guitar, which you can find on my StillKickinMusic site blog. If you Google "Still Kickin - How to Pack a Guitar" you will find it. Thanks.

About Me
My store is a one-person small business that has been selling used guitars and basses for 15 years now. I do a basic setup and cleaning on every instrument I sell, so depending on workload it may be 1-2 business days before your guitar ships. When it arrives you can depend on it being, clean, set up, and securely packed. Check my feedback for confirmation. Thanks!
