You're looking at a definitive classic of the Fender guitar line: a 2014 Fender Telecaster Special Edition in Butterscotch Blonde. These have beautiful wood grain all over that peeks through the finish. Each one is different according to the wood used, and you can see this has amazing grain showing all over. This guitar has just been completely gone through with every piece of hardware and frets polished. It is completely clean unlike some you see being sold with tarnish on the saddles and dust all over. You are not buying a project with this guitar. You will be able to take it out of the box tune up and start playing. Full setup and intonation will be done just prior to shipping.

A special edition guitar, these conform partially to 50s-style specs. So it includes nice touches like the vintage ashtray bridge and brass barrel saddles. Ash body, C-shaped, 9.5" radius maple neck, spaghetti logo, sealed Fender tuners and medium jumbo frets. Cosmetically, it has two minor edge marks (see pics). Frets are in great condition. Weight is 7 pounds, 8 ounces. No case. I do a full cleaning and setup on all guitars. (Details on my setups and packing at bottom of listing.) Thanks for looking!

Guitar Setup
All setups are done by our in-house luthier. Setup includes new strings (9s or 10s depending on what the nut is cut for), overall polish, cleaning any gunk off fingerboard, oiling neck, and polishing frets when necessary. We spray out any pots that are noisy, turn the truss rod (if necessary) and set string height at low-to-medium action depending on string buzz present. Since setup is highly subjective you may need to get it set to your particular needs by your personal luthier. Basses get the same treatment minus the string change. Thanks!

Packing
I use quality boxes, thick bubble wrap, and peanuts to pack guitars. I have a very high rate of successful guitar and bass shipping (meaning few damaged instruments). I have been doing this 10 years and know how to pack well--with or without a hard case.
