Fender 2018 Ltd Ed 72 Telecaster Custom w/ Bigsby Tremolo Wide Range PU 43202
Awesome FSR Tele!
Description
This is a 2018 Fender Telecaster Custom Limited Edition with Bigsby tremolo. It has an ash body with a beautiful natural gloss finish and 3-ply black pickguard. Powered with the renown Wide Range humbucker in the neck position and standard Telecaster single coil at the bridge. All maple neck with vintage C-shape, 7.25" radius, plus all the other 70s-era features like bullet truss rod, "F" tuners and neck plate, skirted amp knobs, and Micro-Tilt neck adjustment.
Of course the main attraction is the famed Bigsby tremolo with its legendary subtle warbling bends, or can be used more vigorously to produce dramatic effects. Cosmetically the guitar is extremely clean with no dings or scratches, beyond some minor pickguard scuffing. Weight is 8 pounds, 2 ounces. Comes with black gig bag. These were made for a short time and are hard to find. I do a full cleaning and setup on all guitars. (Details on my setups and packing at bottom of listing.) Thanks for looking!

Guitar Setup
All setups are done by our in-house luthier. Setup includes new strings (9s or 10s depending on what the nut is cut for), overall polish, cleaning any gunk off fingerboard, oiling neck, and polishing frets when necessary. We spray out any pots that are noisy, turn the truss rod (if necessary) and set string height at low-to-medium action depending on string buzz present. Since setup is highly subjective you may need to get it set to your particular needs by your personal luthier. Basses get the same treatment minus the string change. Thanks!
Packing
I use quality boxes, thick bubble wrap, and peanuts to pack guitars. I have a very high rate of successful guitar and bass shipping (meaning few damaged instruments). I have been doing this 10 years and know how to pack well--with or without a hard case. I wrote a detailed story with photos on how I pack a guitar, which you can find on my StillKickinMusic site blog. If you Google "THERE IN ONE PIECE...How to Pack a Guitar" you will find it. Thanks.

With the Fender 2018 Limited Edition '72 Telecaster with Bigsby in your hands, you can do anything. Anything musical, that is. The Tele took a huge leap forward in 1972 with the addition of a hot humbucking pickup in the neck position — quite possibly inspired by mods performed by guitarists like Mike Bloomfield on their beloved Teles. This axe delivers the Tele twang with the added punch of a neck-position Fender Wide Range humbucker. You also get Fender's cool '70s-style Bullet truss rod and Micro-Tilt neck adjustment along with a Fender Bigsby vibrato. If you're a Tele fan who's after affordable vintage vibe, you can't do better than the Fender Classic Series '72 Telecaster Bigsby.
Rockin' pickup duo packs plenty of punch
When Fender originally designed the 1972 Telecaster model, they set out to create a more versatile guitar that would appeal to a new generation of more aggressive rock guitarists — as well as younger studio musicians whose predecessors had modified their Teles with vibratos and neck humbuckers for warmer jazz tones. So Fender included one of their Wide Range humbucking pickups in the neck position along with a single-coil Tele bridge pickup for that iconic, biting Telecaster lead tone you've heard on countless hits. Top that off with a full set of volume and tone controls for each pickup, and the 2018 Limited Edition '72 Telecaster with Bigsby makes dialing in the perfect sound a piece of cake.
Vintage-style Bigsby tailpiece for enhanced pitch expression
Nothing beats the character and vintage vibe that a real Bigsby tailpiece adds to this '72 Telecaster. Based on the original design created by Paul A Bigsby, this meticulous Fender interpretation requires next to no effort to use, making it particularly easy to pull off slow, subtle, and extended bends. The Bigsby — along with the guitar's electronics, Bullet truss rod, Micro-Tilt neck adjustment, and 7.25"-radius maple fingerboard — gives it a distinctly '70s vintage vibe and a unique niche in the pantheon of amazing instruments that grace Sweetwater's Guitar Gallery.
