Description
You're looking at a 2019 Fender Classic Player Jazzmaster in sunburst finish in excellent playing and cosmetic condition. It is completely stock except the back of the neck has been expertly sanded to a buttery satin finish instead of the stock heavy gloss (see pic below). All electronics perfect. Neck and frets excellent. The Classic Player Jazzmaster is a simple guitar with excellent sounding pickups. Offset body for a great look and iconic Fender synchronized tremolo. 


This comes with a gigbag, Fender paperwork, and (gold) tremolo bar. Cosmetically there are no dings or marks, I'd call it 9.5/10 condition. Weight is 7 pounds, 13 ounces. I do a full cleaning and setup on all guitars. (See bottom for setup and packing details.) Thanks for looking! 

Switching
Just in case you're not familiar with this model, the switching is set up in the vintage fashion, the way the Jazzmaster was originally envisioned by Fender. That means the black slide switch above the pickups when up is in normal or "lead" mode. In lead mode, the white 3-way pickup switch and Volume/Tone knobs down below work just like any normal guitar. The black switch in down position engages the "rhythm" circuit which uses only the neck pickup and the two black controls for volume/tone, and it has a much warmer "jazzy" sound.

Guitar Setup
All setups are done by our in-house luthier. Setup includes new strings (9s or 10s depending on what the nut is cut for), overall polish, cleaning any gunk off fingerboard, oiling neck, and polishing frets when necessary. We spray out any pots that are noisy, turn the truss rod (if necessary) and set string height at low-to-medium action depending on string buzz present. Since setup is highly subjective you may need to get it set to your particular needs by your personal luthier. Basses get the same treatment minus the string change. Thanks!

Packing
I use quality boxes, thick bubble wrap, and peanuts to pack guitars. I have a very high rate of successful guitar and bass shipping (meaning few damaged instruments). I have been doing this 10 years and know how to pack well--with or without a hard case.
