This is a 2023 Fender American Performer Mustang Bass in Sunburst finish. It has a 30" short scale neck and is in excellent playing and cosmetic condition. Weight is 8 pounds, 2 ounces.

Condition
The bass is great condition. No big marks, dings or scratches. Some mild scuffs from normal playing to faint to show in pics. One tiny chip in the neck lacquer on the edge (see pic). Basically looks hardly played. Frets are perfect. Currently set up with some nice flat wound strings. I will replace with round wound if buyer requests it (you must tell me immediately after buying before I do the setup.)

Playability

NOTE: Do you think some mega-seller is going to even look over an instrument, let alone do a full setup? I personally clean, set up, and inspect every instrument (see details below). I spend extensive time to make sure your instrument gets to you in great playing condition. In the box I include a setup checklist explaining everything I did, including relief and string height measurements. Thanks!

Guitar Setup
Setup includes new strings (9s or 10s depending on what the nut is cut for), overall polish, clean and oil fingerboard. We spray out any pots that are noisy, turn the truss rod (if necessary) and set string height at low-to-medium action depending on string buzz present. We do a basic setup since setup is highly subjective you may want to get it set to your particular needs by your personal luthier anyway. Thanks!

Search "How to Pack a Guitar + Hot Girls" on YouTube for a video showing how I pack. I use quality boxes, thick bubble wrap, and peanuts to pack guitars.
