FENDER 50s ROAD WORN PLAYER SERIES STRATOCASTER Vintage White Strat Relic 49441
This is a 2011 Fender Player Series Road Worn Stratocaster in vintage white finish. It is in excellent condition. If you're familiar with the 50s Classic Series Road Worn, this is similar but it mixes in more modern features. Instead of a soft V neck with 7.25 radius, this opts for a modern C-shape with a flatter 9.5" radius. Frets are medium jumbo vs 6105 style. It also has a 3-ply pickguard, as opposed to single ply. Hotter Texas Special pickups give a little extra sizzle. So if you like the road worn look but want a modern feel, you'll like this guitar.
Tasteful wear showing the wood under the finish in appropriate places such as the armrest and lower curve. All the hardware is dulled and has a light patina of scuffs and marks. Attention to detail is pretty amazing for a guitar in this price range. Back of neck worn down to wood for a faster satin feel. Frets in very good condition. No case or tremolo bar. Weight is 7 pounds, 4 ounces. I do a full cleaning and setup on all guitars. (Details on my setups and packing at bottom of listing.) I may end auction early if it sells elsewhere. Thanks for looking!
