Fender Classic Series 70s Stratocaster w/ Duncan Pickups 2002 - Oly White 61400
Description
This is a 2002 Fender Classic Series 70s Stratocaster in Olympic White finish. 23 years vintage it has several upgrades including two Seymour Duncan pickups and a bronze anodized pickguard. This Strat should appeal to tone junkies (see below for all the different pickup combos available). Weight is 7lbs, 15oz.
Features
— Ash body and all maple neck
— U-shaped “chunky” 7.25” radius neck profile
— 70s-style large headstock, 3-bolt neck & bullet truss rod
— Neck pickup is an SJBJ-1N (JB Jr. Humbucker)
— Bridge pickup is vintage Seymour Duncan Rails (either hot or cool)
Condition
Cosmetically this 70s re-issue Strat has a couple marks around the edges (see pics). The Olympic White has some dark patches in the neck pocket and tummy cut but they are pretty hard to see. Frets have mild flattening, but plenty of life left on them.
Sound and Playability
The guitar has no playing issues. Plays great all over the neck. The wiring setup is very different. First knob is master volume, second is master tone, and third is dedicated volume for the middle pickup.
Switch in 1st position (bridge position) engages bridge/mid pickups. 2nd, 3rd, and 4th positions engage all 3 pickups. 5th position engages neck and middle pickups. (Keep in mind in any of these positions you can turn down/off the middle pickup with its dedicated volume knob.) ALSO, the first knob can be pulled out and it splits BOTH Duncan pickups in all switch positions. You can get a ton of sounds from this.
Comes with tremolo bar and gig bag. I do a full setup and expert packing: details below. Full Fender specs in gallery. Buy from a trusted seller with fast insured shipping. Thanks!

Guitar Setup
Setup includes new strings (9s or 10s depending on what the nut is cut for), overall polish, clean and oil fingerboard. We spray out any pots that are noisy, turn the truss rod (if necessary) and set string height at low-to-medium action depending on string buzz present. We do a basic setup since setup is highly subjective you may want to get it set to your particular needs by your personal luthier anyway. Thanks!
Packing
Search "How to Pack a Guitar + Hot Girls" on YouTube for a video showing how I pack. I use quality boxes, thick bubble wrap, and peanuts to pack guitars. I have been doing this 15 years and know how to pack well--with or without a hard case. You can also read my packing blog post on my StillKickinMusic website. If you Google "Still Kickin - How to Pack a Guitar" you will find it. Thanks.
